I have my TTB permit/license. Now what?

After you get your federal approval to manufacture alcoholic beverages; you have 5 continuing duties in addition to compliance with all federal and state alcoholic beverage control laws and regulations:

  1. COLA- Certificate of Label Approval from TTB and/or state ABC regulatory authorities. (New York State Liquor Authority and sister agencies in other states where you do business)
  2. Tax payments for all product removed from bond for consumption or sale.
  3. Accurate records and reports of operations and sales.
  4. Changes to your state and federal licenses/permits if there are changes in your business structure, premises or operations.
  5. Clearing your beverage names to prevent infringement claims from competitors
