Introduction
Stephen “Steve” Lapp is a graduate of St. Bonaventure University, where he obtained a degree in finance and an MBA. He went on to earn his law degree from Cleveland State University. Steve currently sits on the board of the Shepherd Home, a comfort care facility located in Penfield which provides end of life care for those most in need. He also volunteers with JustCause (formerly Volunteer Legal Services Project) providing legal advice and assistance on a pro-bono basis to those in need. Steve is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Monroe County Bar Association. He currently resides with his wife, Merritt, and children in LeRoy, the birthplace of Jell-o, where he is a lifelong resident.
Overview & Experience
Steve’s practice focuses primarily in the areas of real estate, corporate law, and estate planning. His experience in representing financial institutions in various facets, business owners, large property management companies, and real estate owners and investors affords him the ability to advise his clients on issues from various angles. Every legal decision has a financial or business ramification. Steve recognizes this and takes pride in advising his clients accordingly.
