Our practice focuses on inventions, branding and business matters for clients in the restaurant, bar, winery and microbrewery industries. About the Position: We are looking for a rock star part-time bookkeeper who has the proven ability and passion to:

  • Be a key participant in the firm’s customer centric program for client communications and meetings, continue to optimize and streamline our customer/client experience – help every client feel like they are getting VIP treatment
  • Help the firm develop genuine relationships with clients and strategic partners from the front lines
  • Create technical systems and processes that support the day-to-day administrative operations of the business
  • Enhance customer retention and referrals through superior customer service, which in turn will allow us to provide better services and a stronger user experience for the clients we serve
  • Continue to focus on improvement and excellence, with the ability and desire to problem-solve, troubleshoot roadblocks and provide ongoing support when needed

Activities and Responsibilities:

  • A/R with single digit overdue receivables
  • A/P with self-auditing for accuracy
  • Payroll company coordination
  • Ensures all client bills are delivered  on time and without error
  • Prepare financial reports
  • Be a key part of the firm’s customer centric program for clients, continue to optimize and streamline our customer/client experience – help every client feel like they are getting VIP treatment. Be our brand ambassador
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for all areas of day-to-day operations
  • Coordinate with firm accountant for tax filings and financial reports
  • Maintain all financial records and documents in an organized system
  • Implement firm policies and contribute to developing them
  • Develop and implement payment plan options or third party finance plans
  • Process credit card payments and IMS barter system account transactions
  • Reconciliation of operating, trust (IOLA) and merchant accounts

Essential Requirements/Technical Skills/Experience:
