Meet Emily Welch of Evans Fox LLP
Emily Welch is an associate with the firm. Emily graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology and Syracuse University College of Law. In law school, Emily served as an associate and editorial member of the Syracuse Law Review. She also was a student attorney for the Transactional Law Clinic, interned at litigation firms in the Syracuse area, and worked as a research assistant for the Burton Blatt Institute. Emily also received a master’s degree with honors from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. There, she wrote an article, titled “CSI Fact or Fiction: The Impact that Crime Television has on Perceptions of the Criminal Justice System,” which was selected for presentation at the 2020 Broadcast Education Association Conference Scholar-to-Scholar Research Poster Session. In her free time, Emily enjoys traveling, cooking, and exercising.
Emily Welch focuses her practice on civil litigation. Her previous experience at litigation law firms along with her former responsibilities as a student attorney have prepared her for representing clients in various areas, including commercial litigation, medical malpractice, family law, and business law. Emily brings exemplary legal research and writing skills that enable her to better serve clients.
